Alaska Salmon Patties made from your canned salmon is a low fat and sodium meal, How to do it the Alaskan Way.

Potato Salmon Patties

1 can Alaska salmon (approx. 15 oz), drained and flaked
(I don't drain the jar as I like the extra omega 3)
2 beaten eggs
¼ cup dry bread crumbs, garlic and herb seasoned
¼ cup dry potato flakes
1 med onion,
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon dry dill week
¼ teaspoon celery salt
Salt and pepper to taste (I use Mrs. Dash)
2 tablespoons olive oil

Grab a medium bowl and mix salmon, eggs, seasoned bread crumbs, potato flakes, onion, garlic, dill weed, celery salt, salt and pepper. Shape into 2 inch balls and flatten into ½ inch thick patties.
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook patties about 5 minutes on each side until they are lightly browned.

Serving size 5.
